Why Meticore?
As someone who’s done and tried it all, why did I even bother with Meticore in the first place?
Simple: it taught me something new.
As someone who knows an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to the basics of nutrition, Meticore was the first “diet pill” with real and legitimate science that I’d never heard of before. But the studies and research is out there to back it all up.
To keep it short, Meticore doesn’t make you think you’re losing weight by acting as a rebranded laxative, like so many of those other weight loss supplements. Meticore instead works on a condition that is genetically set in you: the normal core temperature of your body.
The idea is that we all have around the same core temperature inside of us, but by having a slightly cooler core temperature than the average person, your metabolism and related biological functions slow down significantly. This means you burn fewer calories throughout the day, you metabolize your food intake less efficiently than others, and you don’t go to the bathroom as often as you should.
And all of this made a whole lot of sense to me. I have always been a “cold” person, with the innate ability to withstand freezing temperatures with ease, or at least much more easily than my (thin!) friends and partners.
After reading about Meticore (and reading tons and tons of scientific articles about their claims), I felt that the novelty alone of trying something new was enough to justify my first Meticore purchase.
Did I believe in it? Maybe 50/50. But considering how done I was with being technically “obese”, 50/50 belief was enough for me.
So, let me answer the question: did it work? In short, I can honestly say it did. But there’s a lot more to it, all of which I continue discussing below.
